Hello, my name is Hanna, this is The Piebrary.
I started this book-to-pie translation blog in 2014 as a way to prove to the publishing industry, my demons, and myself that it is possible to be a literature-loving Dyslexic. I worked in the industry (principally as a foreign literary scout) for 5+ years and am currently at work on a novel of my own.
In this reincarnation, The Piebrary has become a monthly collage of things I’m reading and eating, a culinary supplement to my freelance, artistic, and research practices that keeps me grounded and (hopefully) coherent.
